Operation Nightingale, and Breaking Ground Heritage, utilise archaeology to aid the recovery and rehabilitation of wounded, injured or sick military veterans. In March 2023, they embarked on an excavation of 'Boles Barrow' the infamous Neolithic Long Barrow on the west of Salisbury Plain Training Area.
